OnePlus has updated their smartphone lineup with the OnePlus 8T. The new OnePlus 8T now starts in India at ₹42,999 and competes against the Samsung, Xiaomi and even Apple iPhones. The 8T is available in two variants 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM and 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM which is priced at ₹45,999. It is available on amazon.in.
BUILD AND DESIGN:
Similar to other flagship phones, 8T comes with glass sandwich design. But this time they have ditched the matt frosted glass design ( which was used in OnePlus 8 ad is similarly priced ) and went with a glossy design. Rear of the phone has a quad camera setup along with OnePlus logo. Front of the phone has a punch-hole style notch and has an aluminium frame.
DISPLAY:
Oneplus 8t packs in a 6.55 inch FHD+ fluid AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The screen also supports HDR 10+ and has 402 ppi density. The glass used in front and rear is by Corning, the Gorilla Glass 5.

The flagship killer supports OxygenOS 11 over Android 11.
CAMERAS:
The rear of the phone carries a quad camera array with primary being a 48MP sensor with f/1.7 lens, a 16MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens, 5MP f/2.4 macro lens and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor for portraits. The phone supports 4k@30/60 fps and 1080@30/60/240 fps video recording options.
The front camera is a 16MP f/2.4 sensor for selfies. It supports 1080@30 fps video recording.
BATTERY:
The phone has an fairly large 4500mAh battery which supports crazy fast 65 watt charging. They claim that time required to charge the phone from 0-100% is less than 40 min.
OTHERS:
The Oneplus 8T supports LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage type, Dual SIM 4G support, 5G support, Bluetooth 5.1 support, Dual band Wi-Fi support, NFC, In-display fingerprint scanner and all other necessary sensors.
Oneplus 8T is available in two colours in India Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver.
